A Little Redecorating

For about a year now I've had my eye on a new chair.  It's patterned and beautiful and wouldn't match a thing in my house, but I've had a love affair with it since I laid eyes on it!!  Well today the hubs and I went and picked it up.   That's right, about a week ago I gave in to my desire (plus it was on sale!! I mean it's meant to be!) and ordered the chair!  And ottoman; come on, it's a sale!!  Funny how things grow on the way home and once in the desired spot are humongous!!  So it's facing the opposite direction I was hoping for, but none the less.....it's perfect.  Sitting in it now with my feet propped up with a glass of tea and my kindle waiting by my side!  Drum roll please....

I have a cool birdcage I had bought back around Halloween and thought I would dress it up some and place it on my fireplace mantel.



I needed something tall for the opposite end of my mantle, so I headed to Hobby Lobby last night with my mom and came across these cool dust collectors (also on sale!!)

They match beautifully and I couldn't be happier!!
