Haunted House Chipboard Book

I bought a cute little chipboard book the other day,
and can't wait to get started on it!!  I of course must finish the invitations for the Halloween Party first, but this little book is going to me sooo much fun!!!

I have tons of cute Halloween Paper already to cover the entire thing!!  Now to get started.  Pictures to follow soon.....I hope!!

Trans-form-ations

We have ghosts....ok not really.  I just don't know how to work my camera....still.  Corrected photo to follow shortly.

The transformation of normal everyday home, to loving this time of year home, has begun.

Remember these?

Well, this is what they look like now.

They're painted, but no decoration yet...I need stencils and the cool primitive halloween stencils aren't that cheap!!

I made a trip to Canton the other day, the second of my 29 years, and found the following must haves:

Here are some of the decorations I put up tonight.  I made the blood candles by melting a red candle over the white tapers.

And here is the spooky corner....I am soooo pleased with myself!!  (and what's behind the creepy purple ghost haze from above)

I have that feeling deep in my gut that crisp nights, falling leaves, apple cider, fireplace smoke, trick-or-treaters, hay rides, haunted houses, horror movies, good smelly candles, and all things fall/harvest/halloween are right around the corner.

All Hallow's Eve

So I finally got around to playing with the new cartridge, and here's what I've got so far:

The house involved 22 steps, with anywhere from 2-4 parts to each step!!!   AAARRRRGGG, my nerves were shot once completed!!  Who really needs a paper house anyway???  I will have fun crushing once the season is over.

So slightly disappointed in myself (fold where??  or there??  not where I've already folded it??) and the outcome of the paper house.....I grabbed a little down time at the Wylie Arts & Craft show last weekend (in between selling tons of clothes, jewelry and flops!!!) and wandered over to the other booths to have a look.  I walk into the other room, and the first booth I come upon......HEAVEN!!!  Something wicked this way comes!!  I was in trouble!!!  Halloween and Harvest decorations....oh my!!  Here's a few items I just couldn't leave without, I mean, they needed a good home.

This cute little hanger bouncy thingy has a spring from which it dangles....and yes, I am proud to say, I pull on it at least once a day to put it in motion!!  I am currently grinning.

The hubs will be leaving me in the morning to join my father on a dove murdering spree (lucky devil, though I plan to enjoy my quite time) and for myself I have assigned a new undertaking.  Enter components for stacking/nesting boxes!!!  Drum roll please......

The mission....turn these brown ugly things into something festive and charming.  Who am I kidding??

Well anyway, back to your regularly scheduled program.......

BOO

Well being that it's the beginning of August......seems no better time than now to get started on Halloween decorations!!!  Here's what I've produced thus far.

These are some paper laterns with tealights inside.

I found some cool bottles at Michaels and printed out and attached my own poison labels.
